These terms of service outline the agreement between Sisters Speaking English and paying members of the Sisters Speaking English membership website.

• Throughout these terms, the words ‘I’, ‘we’, ‘my’, ‘our’ and ‘Sisters Speaking English’ refer to Johanne Moir, trading as Sisters Speaking English.  
• The words ‘you’, ‘your’, ‘member’ and ‘members’ refer to paying subscribers to the Sisters Speaking English membership programme.

1. Sisters Speaking English is only for women aged 18 years and over.  Men, boys and girls aged under 18 will not be given access to the website or live classes.  By accepting these terms of service, you warrant that you are a woman over the age of 18.  Each new member will be required to provide a short recorded introduction before she is approved into our speaking community.

2. Be nice 🙂 This is a welcoming space for women of all ages, races, and religions.  Respect, tolerance and kindness towards all is a fundamental requirement of every member.  

3. Internet and data  Access to this website, especially Zoom meetings and video calling, requires a reasonable internet connection.  Each member is responsible for the provisions and cost of her own internet connection and data usage.

4. Use of your account Your membership is for your own personal use. Please protect the privacy of all the sisters in this group by keeping your login details secure and do not allow anyone else to use your account. You are responsible for all content and comments posted on your personal account.

5. Privacy Some basic personal data is collected by this website to help improve our service.  We respect your privacy and will never share your data unless required by law. Please read our privacy policy for more details.

6. Copyright Please respect international copyright laws. All material on this website is for your own personal use and may not be copied or shared without express written permission.  Other copyrighted materials may not be requested or shared on this website.

7. Website access  We will do everything possible to keep our website up and running 24 hours a day.  You will be informed in advance of any scheduled maintenance that may require downtime.  However, Sisters Speaking English shall not be held liable if this website is unavailable at any time.

8. Class times Classes are offered at different times of day to accommodate members from a range of time zones.  Members are welcome to attend any class, although some times may not be convenient for you.  Although every effort is made to maintain a consistent schedule, Sisters Speaking English reserves the right to change class times as required.  A minimum of 4 live classes per week will be offered 48 weeks per year. 

8. External links Our website contains links to other external websites for your convenience.  These websites are not under our control.  We recommend that you check the privacy policy and terms of use for each website you visit.

9. Money back guarantee  Sisters Speaking English offers a 14 day money back guarantee. If you feel that our programme is not valuable for you, you may request a full refund by emailing me within fourteen days of your first payment.  

10. Subscription Access to Sisters Speaking English website is by subscription, paid monthly, six-monthly or annually.  The subscription is paid automatically at the end of each renewal period, using the payment method you used when you registered.  Your subscription can be cancelled at any time before the date of renewal, using the link provided at the bottom of your invoice or on your account page.  

11. Results The advice and recommendations given on this website are based on sound language acquisition principals and years of teaching experience.  However, developing fluency takes time.  Your speaking progress is dependent on a range of factors, including your own efforts.   Although I believe that our programme has the potential to transform your speaking skills, there is no explicit or implicit guarantee of results.
